La mamá gansa alza el vuelo con sus pollitos / listos para nacer – Spanish language materials

Important note:

The links below lead to documents that were used during Pilot 1 and 2 in Maryland. Since we do not have an official Spanish language translator, the items still have old QR codes and logos, and have not been updated. If you plan to use them, please update all of the contact information. If you are able to have more items translated fully into Spanish, please send them to Betsy Diamant-Cohen so she can share them with others!

At the bottom of this page are links to Spanish materials created for Pilot 3 by Maryland librarians Luz Flores, Febe Huezo, Amelia Alapati and Andrea Erickson. Keep in mind that these do not yet have the same graphics as all of the other Hatchlings’ materials.

Pilot 3 PowerPoints

Luz Flores, Children’s Librarian II at the Marilyn J. Praisner Library in Burtonsville, MD, worked with Febe Huezo, Amelia Alapati and Andrea Erickson to create a set of four PowerPoints for Spanish speakers, that uses more original songs and rhymes without relying on YouTube. They have graciously shared the PowerPoints with us, and they can be downloaded below:

Here is a Spanish Version of the Songbook   for the above PowerPoints.

The Spanish version of Hatchlings is still a work in progress, so if you have any questions, please contact Betsy at betsydc@mgol.org.
