- The Enoch Pratt Library in Baltimore, MD received the Godfrey Award for excellence in public library programming for children and families for Mother Goose on the Loose.
- Each year, Public Libraries Magazine chooses one feature article as the best of the year. Of all the articles published in 2004, first prize was given to “Mother Goose on the Loose: Applying Brain Research to Early Childhood Programs in the Public Library” a feature article from January/February 2004.
