Using Props in Programs (for children from birth to age 5) (1.5 hours )

The importance of learning through play and hands-on experiences is accompanied by a quick tutorial regarding what developmental tips are, how they can be easily created following a 1,2,3 formula, and how they can be used in programs. A review of studies showing the benefits of using colored scarves and musical instruments with young children is followed by many examples of prop activities that can be easily adapted for virtual storytimes. Participants are expected to join in the activities. .
