About Booklogix
As MGOL Goslings and Hatchlings started spreading, facilitators asked for access to already printed materials. After much looking and asking for recommendations, I chose to work with Booklogix. The staff are easy to work with, they clearly care about their authors, and they deliver a wonderful printed product. For that reason, I have chosen them to print and ship the printed materials for the following MGOL programs.
Booklogix provides all the printed materials you will need to present MGOL Hatchlings sessions. Items are available individually, but their bundles includes the Instructional Guide with forms, worksheets, checklists, hand-outs, and a song sheet for photocopying as well as heavy-duty panels.
Hatchlings: Ready to Hatch
The Mother Goose on the Loose Hatchlings: Ready to Hatch Instruction Guide has all the information needed to plan and present Ready to Hatch Hatchlings sessions for parents with newborns. The guide contains explanations of research supporting Hatchlings, a glossary, goals and objectives of the program, suggestions for recruitment, steps needed for planning and publicizing, and recommended facilitation techniques. It provides information for presenting virtual as well as in-person sessions. There are four complete scripts for each of the sessions with panel prompts for the facilitator. The perforated pages at the end of the book (In Appendix J) can be used for photocopying essential items such as the organizing timeline, program considerations, logistics checklist, information sheet, registration form, template for designing your own session, a materials checklist, online preparation checklist, consent form templates, a sign-in sheet, reflections after the program recording form, cheat sheets with script outlines for each session, a mini-songbook, and handouts for each of the initial four sessions.

Placed on a tabletop easel, they also highlight important points for parents and illustrate concepts. These 11×17 laminated panels are easy to use and disinfect, when necessary. The full-color illustrations feature a diverse group of adults and babies.

The Mother Goose on the Loose Hatchlings: In the Nest songbook contains lyrics to songs and rhymes, developmental tips, and links to audio and videos that show the Hatchlings songs/rhymes and activities in action. During In the Nest sessions parents are asked to scan in the QR code that links to the recordings. Parents are encouraged to take the songbook and use it at home for singing with their babies.
